Hello, my name is Ali. I am currently in the 3rd year of my BEng Mechanical Engineering course at the University of Strathclyde. I have always been passionate about teaching and my best subjects, Maths and Science. This is the main reason that I scored A* grades in all of my Math and Science subjects in both GCSE and A Level, with an A grade in A-Level Further Mathematics too! I have a desire to ensure that all my students leave the classroom with their queries and confusions resolved in the best possible way, so that they may flourish well in their respective subjects. That is why my lessons are always pre-planned and prepared ahead of time to ensure effective and efficient learning. I am adaptive towards all sorts of student requirements, and am good at simplifying concepts through the use of common examples. I create a comfortable environment for my students in which learning barriers and queries can easily be addressed and overcome without hesitation. Hello, my name is Vivek Suhta and I am a third-year student studying mechanical engineering at the University of Strathclyde. I achieved an A* in Mathematics at GCSE level which led me to choosing mechanical engineering at university. Mathematics has continued to play a pivotal role throughout my academic journey and in my everyday life. I believe having a solid fundamental understanding of maths is important regardless of what profession a student chooses to pursue and that is the main reason I am so passionate about helping young people reach their academic potential while also enjoying the subject.
I have several hundred hours of tuition experience on online websites but have decided to make an even bigger impact on my students by focussing on in person sessions. I look forward to unlocking my students’ full potential, whatever level of mathematics they may be studying.
