Hello! I’m Maurizio De Gennaro, a third-year student at Strathclyde University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. As a math tutor, I am not only passionate about mathematics but also fascinated by effective teaching methods that establish a strong foundation. I believe maths is a fundamental subject for any student. However, I understand that sometimes traditional teaching methods employed at school make it challenging for students to grasp the subject properly and in turn result in it becoming unenjoyable. I am committed to providing different approaches which boost efficiency and make tackling a math paper a very manageable task. 

Throughout my academic journey, I have rigorously utilized my maths skills, earning distinctions and Dean’s list awards at University. In addition to this I achieved As in Advanced Higher Mathematics, Mathematics of Mechanics, Physics, and Chemistry and straight As at Higher and National 5 

Having finished school in 2021, I possess a thorough understanding of the course requirements and the strategies necessary to attain top grades. I am excited to have this unique opportunity to help others look at maths in a different way and hopefully come to enjoy it even just a little bit more. I primarily offer tutoring in National 5 Math, but also due to my background in Mechanical Engineering I offer tutoring for National 5 Physics.
